Markson Law secures favourable outcome in matter involving Ontario police officer

All charges have been withdrawn against a police officer of the Ontario Provincial Police at the request of the Crown further to the Crown’s assessment that there was no reasonable prospect of conviction in the matter. Charges laid against Crown witness in Markson Law matter

Markson Law represented a police officer of the Niagara Regional Police Service whose matter concluded in December 2021 with a stay of charges at the request of the Crown after the credibility of the Crown’s key witness was called into question.
